Medical Transportation is available for any medical purpose
such as:
- Inter-facility Transfers
- Hospital Discharge / Admissions
- Nursing Home Transfers

- Doctor, Dentist, or Eye Appointments

South Central EMS, Inc. offers an alternative, more affordable
medical care and equipment of an emergency vehicle. Our vehicle
is staffed by state certified Emergency Medical Technicians,
trained to provide professional, courteous service and patient
care. We are available for local and long distance transports
and can accomodate those requiring a wheelchair or stretcher.
Scheduling
To schedule a wheelchair or stretcher transport please call
545-1083. If you call after our business hours, please
listen to the recording carefully and you will be given an
on duty pager number to contact our crews directly. It is
recommended that you make transport arrangements as early
as possible to insure our availability at that time.

*Rates are subject to change at any time.
The above rates include the first 10 miles of a transport
after which the charge is $2.00 per mile. Additional charges
may be added for waiting time in excess of 15 minutes and
for extra medical treatment. This medical transport service
is not covered by most insurance companies and is the responsibilty
of the patient. Payment for service is due at the time of
transport, unless other arrangements have been made.
